Cash for Kids is the in-house charity of Bauer Media in the UK. Cash for Kids has local fundraising teams in 22 locations across the UK, together with a small central team based in the North East. The Difference you will make
As the Senior Accounts Administrator you will undertake a range of financial reporting and administrative tasks. This includes the maintenance of financial records and the processing of income and expenditure.
Operating in a team environment, working in a collaborative way with other members of the finance team and the wider Cash for Kids team you will be contributing to the goal of giving disadvantaged children and young people across the UK the chance to thrive.
Your role
- Reconciliation of Central Bank accounts including CAF, Charities, Trust, Benevity, Text, Direct Debits and BACS donations.
- Reconciliation and apportionment of central overhead transfers.
- Prepare and Reconcile CRM Data reports.
- Prepare Sage reports for import into Sage Accounting System.
- Manage National (central) Giving is Easy and Just Giving reports, transferring funds to relevant charity bank accounts.
- Update Charity Business plans,
- Manage PayPal Give reports for each individual site.
- Process Gift Aid and transfer funds to relevant station plan and bank accounts.
The Skills you will bring
- An accountancy qualification, A Level or AAT qualified or equivalent.
- Relevant experience of accounting principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organisationally minded.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our Cash for Kids head office in the Teesside area. Typically, this looks like 3 three days in the office and 2 at home.
