About the Role
The focus of the role is the scheduling of sales orders from our agency and direct sales teams, the creation of advertising logs for broadcast, and the assignment of ad copy on a selection of our nine FM radio stations.
Reporting to the Head of Traffic, you will liaise with our commercial teams to enable the flow of commercial advertising campaigns into our traffic system along with the assignment and loading of ad copy resulting in the daily creation and integration of advertising logs.
This role is a full-time position working 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday through Friday.
What You'll Do:
- Importing and scheduling of local and agency advertising campaigns
- Importing Sponsorship, Solutions, Digital & audioXi billing orders.
- Importing amendments of local and agency campaigns.
- Assigning copy to direct and agency campaigns.
- Loading ad copy to the RCS Zetta playout system.
- Managing advertising inventory across a selection of FM stations.
- Creating daily advertising logs for multiple stations including balanced logs for networked stations.
- Develop strong working relationships with the direct and agency sales teams, as well as the commercial, production, programming and finance teams to assist with the delivery of commercial campaigns.
- Dealing with general sales executive queries on advertising campaigns.
- Providing revenue and inventory reporting to sales, finance and management teams.
What You'll Have:
- Previous advertising traffic or similar scheduling experience is required.
- Strong computer skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention-to-detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and build relationships within a team in a fast-paced and daily deadline-based environment.
- Experience with broadcast traffic software is required. Knowledge of RCS Aquira preferred but not required.
- Experience with digital audio editors for basic audio editing (Adobe / Cool Edit or similar)
