Launched in 2019, GoLoud is Ireland’s first-to-market podcast platform, offering users access to their favorite podcasts, national and local radio stations, and a diverse range of content across entertainment, business, news, and culture.  

 

About The Role

 

GoLoud is searching for a Video Creative who is passionate about content and experienced in producing engaging visual content. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing our video strategy for both original audio content and licensed titles with an aim to support the growth and reach of the GoLoud brand. You will be a hands-on leader in ideating, producing, and editing video content across multiple platforms, ensuring the highest standards in production and execution.  

 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Lead and deliver on a video strategy to support the growth and reach of GoLoud’s brand including podcasts, talent and events.  Collaborate with editorial team, presenters, sound/video engineers, and events staff to coordinate and deliver engaging top-tier visual production primarily for social media and on-demand audiences, upholding GoLoud’s high standards.  
  • Manage end to end video production process; shoot, edit, and publish video content with a focus on audience engagement and podcast promotion.  
  • Manage communication with stakeholders involved in video production process, including pre-planning,  production schedules, and long-term planning calendars.  
  • Contribute creative ideas to podcast planning meetings, working closely with presenters, producers, the senior editorial team, and social media executive to curate and refine engaging content that expands audience reach.   
  • Utilize established processes for content tracking, updating, and archiving.  
  • Develop show specific bibles that can be used throughout the team to ensure visual, set and production consistency, and can easily be transferred to producers and external staff when cover is required through the year.  
  • Work closely with the social media team and marketing to ensure timely, relevant, and engaging video content across platforms.  
  • Identify platform-specific segments that drive engagement and growth.  
  • Monitor and ensure that contracted deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.  
  • Other duties as required. 

  
Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of three years' experience in video and audio editing, with strong skills in shooting, editing, and publishing content.   
  • Strong social media skills, including proficiency with platforms like Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an editorial environment.  
  • In-depth knowledge of libel and defamation laws, ensuring all content meets legal standards  
  • Analytical skills for tracking and reporting on content performance across platforms.  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while consistently delivering top-quality content  
  • Adaptable to tight deadlines and irregular work hours, including events that fall outside standard business hours.  
  • Passion for podcasts and an interest in comedy, lifestyle, true crime, and other relevant verticals.  
  • Versatile and adaptable, with a demonstrated ability to lead creative projects and collaborate with diverse teams.  
  • Knowledge of Pro Tools, Audition, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and other editing and design tools is a plus.

This job is a full-time permanent job. The working hours are Monday through Friday with flexibility for events and deadlines outside standard hours. The work location is based in Marconi House, Dublin 2 with option for hybrid model.
