Charity Manager
We’re looking for a Charity Manager to join our Cash for Kids Team on a full-time permanent basis in South Wales.
As a Charity Manager you will be reporting in to the National Brands Charity Manager and work alongside the wider Hits Radio South Wales team. You will be required to establish relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will use your network of local corporate contacts and passionate about making a difference in the local community.
Our Team:
The small charity team are passionate and driven about the children we want to help throughout the year. The Northwest charity team work closely together, and Cash for Kids Liverpool, North West and North Wales work alongside the whole Radio City and Greatest Hits radio team.
This is a hybrid position that supports a balance of working from home and your local office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering strategy, planning, and daily management of the charity.
- Achieving fundraising targets through effective events and campaigns.
- Identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities while maintaining current supporter relationships.
- Assessing fundraising activities and proposing strategies for growth.
- Developing the charity as an integral part of the business.
- Creating and implementing tactical PR plans for the charity.
- Managing grant applications and overseeing volunteer recruitment.
- Building and maintaining profitable, long-term fundraising relationships.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven sales or corporate experience with project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks for maximum cash growth impact.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work evenings/weekends if needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and social media tools.
- Strong presentation and sales skills with fundraising or marketing experience.
- Team player with confidence, personality, and a good sense of humour.
