You will be joining a team of around 50 colleagues across the UK, working closely with a Senior Leadership Team of five in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. As Director of Growth & Partnerships, you will lead Bauer Academy’s consultancy and commercial function, helping organisations solve workforce skills, learning and organisational capability challenges. This is a unique opportunity to build on an established apprenticeship business while accelerating the growth of our learning solutions offering. With a strong pipeline already in place, you will have the autonomy to shape strategy, develop new revenue streams and create long-term client partnerships that deliver meaningful impact.

Your Role 

• Develop and deliver commercial strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth. 

• Build and convert a strong pipeline of new opportunities and client partnerships. 

• Identify new market opportunities and growth areas. 

• Act as a trusted advisor on learning, workforce development and organisational capability. 

• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. 

• Lead commercial activity across apprenticeships and learning solutions. 

• Manage and develop three direct reports. 

• Contribute as a member of the Bauer Academy Senior Leadership Team. 

• Build trusted, strategic client relationships focused on long-term outcomes rather than transactional sales. 
  
  

The Skills You Will Bring 

• Significant experience in business development, partnerships, consultancy or L&D. 

• Proven ability to generate revenue growth and build long-term client relationships. 

• Exceptional networking and stakeholder management skills. 

• Highly organised with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. 

• Strong understanding of learning and development or workforce capability. 

• Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills. 

• Desirable: apprenticeship sector knowledge and experience selling learning solutions. 
  
  

Working Pattern & Location 

Hybrid role based at The Lantern, London. Expected office attendance on Mondays plus additional days as required, alongside regular client meetings, networking and travel.
