You’ll be joining the team behind Boogie in the Morning, one of Scotland’s most popular and successful breakfast shows. Broadcasting across the Hits Radio Network Scotland, the show reaches audiences across the country with engaging, personality-led content every weekday. Working alongside the Executive Producer, presenters and wider content teams, you’ll play a key role in creating compelling output that keeps listeners informed, entertained and connected.


The Difference you will make


As Breakfast Show Producer, you’ll help shape the daily output of a flagship radio programme, supporting presenters, developing content and ensuring every show is delivered to the highest standard.


Your role

  • Planning and producing daily breakfast show content
  • Researching and developing audience-focused story ideas and features
  • Supporting and directing presenters in live and pre-recorded environments
  • Operating within a live studio environment
  • Booking and managing celebrity interviews and guests
  • Producing competitions, promotions and branded content
  • Supporting social, digital and video content activity
  • Maintaining strong editorial standards and Ofcom compliance

 

The Skills you will bring

  • Experience producing content within radio, audio or broadcast media
  • Strong understanding of personality-led and breakfast radio programming
  • Excellent content generation and storytelling skills
  • Experience working with presenters and contributors
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced live environment

 

Working Pattern / Location


Studio-based role in Edinburgh (St James Quarter) with early morning starts. Flexibility to work remotely after show and post-production.
