You will be joining The Bauer Commercial Data team which is a multi-disciplinary group spanning insight, analytics, strategy, and engineering. We work collaboratively with revenue operations, sales, data engineering, and content teams to deliver data-driven solutions that support Bauer’s commercial objectives.

 

The Difference you will make

As a Commercial Data Analyst (12 month FTC) you will play a key role in strengthening the capability of the Commercial Data team. You will take ownership of technical projects in areas such as data collection, automation, and applied data science, while continuing to support commercial data requests and drive efficiency through process optimisation.

 

Your work will directly support Bauer’s commercial strategy across digital audio, digital display, and video platforms, enabling us to manage a growing volume of reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

 

Your role

  • Lead and contribute to technical projects in data collection, automation and applied data science.
  • Maintain, monitor, and optimise audience targeting.
  • Build and maintain data visualisation dashboards and regular reporting in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Use SQL and Python to automate data processes and streamline reporting.
  • Support commercial data requests from internal teams, providing training and relevant insights.
  • Proactively identify and communicate insights from Bauer’s data.
  • Create and maintain resources to support sales and revenue operations teams.
  • Support other team members with projects and requests related to our commercial data offering.

 

 

The Skills you will bring

  • Experience working with, analysing, and identifying trends in data.
  • Experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualisation software (Power BI, Tableau) and
  • Proficient in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
  • Working knowledge of Python for data automation.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights that add commercial value.

 

 

Working Pattern/Location

This is fulltime role, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with flexible working hours, on a 12-month fixed term contract. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London (5 minutes’ walk from Euston Station)
