You will be working closely with the Creative Strategy Team at the heart of Bauer Media Advertising, drawing on our network of iconic brands and content creators to deliver standout creative solutions for our commercial partners.

The Difference You Will Make

 

As a Creative Strategy Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of holistic, impactful partnerships that bring together Bauer Media’s full multi platform offering.


Through insight, instinct and curiosity, you will help shape creative responses that influence audiences, meet client objectives and deliver measurable results. Working closely with senior team members, you will contribute to creative ideation, campaign planning and pitch development across a wide range of brands and platforms.


This is an entry level role with significant opportunity for growth, learning and progression within one of the most exciting areas of modern media.

 

Your Role:

 

You will support the Creative Strategy team from both a creative and administrative perspective, while also taking ownership of level appropriate briefs under guidance from senior colleagues.


Alongside this, you will take part in ongoing training and development to build your understanding of Bauer Media’s brands, platforms, audiences and the craft of Creative Strategy.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to strategy brainstorms and writing up top line responses
  • Supporting Directors and Managers on delegated project work, including briefing mock ups, briefing research requests and assisting with presentations
  • Organising meetings and brainstorms, taking notes and writing up ideas
  • Managing departmental administration such as maintaining the ideas bank, organising shared resources, files and folders, and supporting special projects
  • Working with other departments (e.g. Commercial Content, Talent and Research teams) to gather collateral that enables the Creative Strategy team to work efficiently
  • Providing administrative support to the Head of Creative Strategy
  • Challenging and interrogating client briefs at an appropriate level
  • Designing creative partnerships and campaign ideas aligned to client objectives and Bauer brands
  • Taking ownership of projects from start to finish under senior guidance
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders including sales teams, client leads, research teams and senior brand stakeholders
  • Briefing the design team for mock ups and pitch materials
  • Attending client or agency pitches where appropriate, with opportunities to present
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, emerging technologies and competitive creative ideas
  • Working closely with delivery teams to ensure pitches are feasible and executable

Required:

  • A genuine passion for media, creativity and storytelling
  • Curiosity about audiences, culture and what makes people engage with content
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Confidence working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions focused and enthusiastic attitude

Desired:

  • Experience or exposure to media, advertising, marketing or creative industries
  • An intuitive understanding of great radio, digital, publishing, podcast or social content
  • An interest in trends, innovation and emerging platforms

 

Working Pattern / Location

 

This role is full time and based within Bauer Media Advertising. Hybrid working may be available in line with company policy, depending on role and business needs.


Please note that the Creative Strategy team operates in a fast paced environment, and flexibility may occasionally be required to support pitches and project deadlines.
