About The Role

What You'll Do:
- Support the production of music, entertainment and human interest content that captivates and engages Today FM's listeners.
- Assist in researching and developing bold and original ideas for on-air and digital platforms.
- Research, booking talent and writing briefs for presenters and guests
- Use your audio and video editing skills to produce and craft standout entertainment moments.
- Work Collaboratively with the team to create compelling content that resonates with our audience.
- Learn and confidently handle in-studio operations, managing audience communication, mastering desk setups, audio playout systems, and production tools like Adobe Audition, GSelector and Zetta.
- Experiment with AI-driven tools to enhance live and on-demand content, pushing creative boundaries.
- Actively pitch ideas for daily content and contribute to station wide campaigns
- Assist in transforming audio content into captivating visuals for Today FM’s digital platforms.
- Work flexibly, including some out-of-hours and weekend shifts, to meet the demands of live broadcasting and Today FM events
What You'll Have:
- You have experience in radio broadcasting, podcasting, content creation or music streaming.
- You’re a confident audio editor with proficiency in industry-standard tools.
- An interest in pop culture, music, entertainment, current affairs and human interest stories
- You’re comfortable and confident on-air.
- The ability to learn and understand broadcast regulation, including legal and libel.
- You’re eager to innovate, with a desire to explore the potential of AI and cutting-edge tools.
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a creative flair; you love to think big with ideas that will capture people’s attention.
- You love planning, organising and you’re always prepared.
- You have the ability to make decisions quickly when necessary and the resilience to challenge/be challenged.
- You make time for people; you build relationships and act as a support to those around you.
